My name is Jessica Horvath. I am a third grade teacher at Arlington Elementary School. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s of education in Curriculum and Instruction. I have additional master's studies in reading and technology. I have been a teacher for twenty years. This is my sixteenth year teaching in the Stroudsburg School District. I have been a kindergarten, first grade, and School Support teacher in the district. Prior to moving to Stroudsburg, I spent four years teaching kindergarten and first grade at an elementary school just south of Washington, D.C. I have two daughters who attend schools in Stroudsburg Schools. My husband is also a teacher in Stroudsburg. He teaches fifth grade at the Middle School. When we aren't at school, my family and I stay very busy with all of my children's extra curricular activities, community commitments, and taking care of our 3 black labs!
